Trump committee hearing on Fed Governor Lisa Cook rescheduled to Dec. 14

A special committee appointed by President Donald Trump to investigate allegations of false statements by Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook has rescheduled a hearing in which it wants Cook to appear from this Thursday to Dec. 14, a White House official said Wednesday evening.
The official said the rescheduling of the hearing at the White House came at the request of Cook, whose lawyer, Abbe Lowell, in an Oct. 14 letter said questions about the committee and its investigation would have to be addressed before the hearing could occur.
Lowell said at the time that the hearing could not take place until December, at the earliest.
